This book is so extraordinary and profound that I read it just for myself sometimes.

It is ideal for a child who is beginning to grapple with questions about growing up.  When they start to take note of the different phases that we go through in life -- at home, in school, going to work, at hoem again -- they will invariable have doubts and insecurities about their own passasge through life.  This book is so upbeat and positive while remaining deeply realistic that they are virtually certain to conquer any anxieties and find the courage and self-confidence that are so important.
