My wife and I enjoyed this book as mch as our kids did.  The story, about a couple that lets being busy make them forget about what makes them really happy, is a variation on the standard "be careful what you wish for" theme.

The little ones may miss some subtleties of the story, but there is plenty to keep their interest.
