My Kids Library is still actively being developed, and these are some of the features that will be coming in the future.  Please feel free to comment on them, propose which are the highest priority, which aren't needed, what have you.  Your feedback will drive the development of this site.

 

  • Connections - make friends with other MKL users and be able to exchange private messages, recommend books and suggest reading lists and forums.
  • Suggest books for Reading Lists - books can only be added to or removed from a public Reading List by the person who created it.  However, other MKL users may come across books that would be good candidates for inclusion in a list that they follow.  This feature will allow one to suggest a book for inclusion in a Reading List.
  • Improved Wireless Access - access MKL faster through your wireless PDA or web-enabled mobile phone.  While MKL can be accessed just like any other web site, it's possible to create an alternate view of it that will make it a more enjoyable experience on smaller devices like PDAs and mobile phones.
  • RSS Feeds - use your regular feed aggregator to see changes to reading lists, forum discussions and more.
